We are excited to announce that award-winning journalist and author Cynthia Barnett will be speaking at our first meeting of the fall semester. She is a wealth of knowledge regarding freshwater and water issues. In addition to countless magazine and newspaper articles, she has written two books on water (see photos below) and is releasing another one soon (a human and natural history of rain).
